Floris earned his bachelor’s degree in Dutch Law at Tilburg University. During this period he took his first steps in advocacy as a paralegal at a small law firm in the south of the country.
In 2013 Floris moved to Amsterdam to pursue a master’s degree in Dutch Private Law. During his master’s Floris concentrated on Security & Finance, Financial Law, Insolvency Law, Law of legal persons and Company Law. He finished his master’s with a thesis on the transfer of claims, more specifically on the topic of clauses relating to non-transferability. Alongside of his master’s Floris gained experience interning at a law firm in the field of both Company and Insolvency Law.
Floris is an attorney at law at MenD since 2016 with a focus on Company law, Financial law and Insolvency law.
